Artlink Central makes a real and lasting difference to the lives of so many – from children and young people with additional support needs to people experiencing dementia, those with mental health issues, offenders, those with learning disability... the list goes on. We deliver hundreds of workshops and cultural events each year which attract close to 3,000 attendances from our target communities.
Below are examples of how our supporters have helped raise funds for the charity.
A charity art auction and gala evening by Artlink Central has raised over £11,000 to support access to the arts for disabled and excluded communities across Central Scotland. The event featured a performance by acclaimed Scottish jazz singer Carol Kidd MBE.
Artlink's patron, Gruffalo author Julia Donaldson (left) gave live performances of her work during two performances at Blair Drummond Safari Park to an audience of audience of around 500 people raising £7,000.
Hannah Dickson walked 30 miles along the Jurassic Coast for the FatFace Foundation 'because hey do great work and help causes all over the UK', including supporting Artlink.
Forth Valley College HND students chose Artlink Central as the beneficiary of an art fair this summer raising funds to support the charity.
This delightful Arnprior garden was opened to the public as part of Scotland Garden Scheme, with part of the proceeds being donated to Artlink.
