Artlink Central's 30th Anniversary Celebration Concert

Artlink Central has great pleasure in inviting you to celebrate their 30th anniversary with a concert of songs, music and memories at the Holy Trinity Church, Stirling on 28 April at 7.30 pm. Please join us for this special fundraising event hosted by Crawford Logan as Master of Ceremonies with all proceeds going to Artlink Central.
We are delighted to welcome Tenor, Kenneth Reid, Mezzo Soprano, Penelope Cousland and friends who will perform for Artlink Central in special memory of WFT Anderson. Recent highlights in Kenneth’s career include performing as an Apostle in Elgar’s Apostles at Edinburgh International Festival, Mozart’s Requiem with Dunedin Consort, The Swan in Carmina Burana with EUMS at Usher Hall, Edinburgh.
Penelope is an experienced concert and oratorio singer. Her repertoire includes Music Makers and Sea Pictures (Elgar); Messiah (Handel); Petite Messe Solennelle (Rossini); Elijah (Mendelssohn); Requiem (Verdi); A Child of our Time (Tippett) and Requiem (Durufle).
The Artreach group, artists with learning disabilities, will premiere a new performance piece. Included is a glass of wine and canapes served during the interval when there will be an opportunity to view a retrospective exhibition of work created by Artlink Central participants.
Artlink Central continues to raise crucial funds for their innovative and highly effective arts programmes for adults and children experiencing learning difficulties, mental illness, disabilities or social exclusion in communities across Forth Valley. With your support we can raise vital funds to continue our work and celebrate the outstanding contribution to the arts over thirty years.
