Fundraise
Get down and get dirty - It's one way to raise funds!
Raise funds to help Artlink Central
There is no shortage of fundraising ideas, and it can be a lot of fun to hold events, but it can also be a lot of work, too, for you and your family or colleagues. Nonetheless, you can use a variety of ways to raise money, keeping both you and your charity happy.
We need your help so we can be there - in schools, in hospitals, in local communities and campaigning hard for better services and support.
Old Favourites
Have a bake or craft sale. Bake sales and craft sales allow the community to participate by contributing homemade goods. Or you could sell at work!
Host a party.
Hold a car wash.
Set up a dinner fundraiser.
Hold a raffle.
Consider gift wrapping if you're fundraising around Christmas time.
Some Art Inspired Ideas
If you are an artist or craft worker, you can use your skills to involve people who might not otherwise have got involved. Whether you offer a cartoon drawing class, or a messy craft workshop, a mask making session or a sponsored bunting project, there are many ways to draw in members of the community to help Artlink Central.
Trash Art Auction
This quick fundraising idea isn’t just for the eco-friendly, but for all creative types. Enlist local artists to create some avant-garde masterpieces out of recyclables or other waste products, and auction off the pieces
Film Fundraising
Host a film festival and have participants enter their own unique productions. You can even turn it into a contest, where attendees can give £5 in order to cast votes for their favourite films.
Craft Sales
Gather talented friends and family members to help create and sell your crafts, whether they are bracelets, buttons, keychains, or other wares.
Art Show
Local artists and supporters can pay a nominal registration fee to have their pieces showcased, and attendees can pay a registration fee to browse the collection. Afterwards, artists can choose to auction off their pieces for charity.
Tie-Dye Party
Tie-dye and sell T-shirts that promote your cause, host a get-together with materials for people to make their own tie-dye shirts and charge an entrance fee, or offer to tie-dye personal items for a donation.
Our challenge to you is to convert ideas into action!
The Boring Small Print
Fundraising is protected by legislation, designed to protect the charity, its fundraisers and the supporting public.
Events in public places, lotteries (raffles), collections (street and house to house) all have legal rules.
Promotional material must show Artlink Central's charity number.
